Boiler service

Much like an MOT and service on a car, a boiler service is there to ensure that your boiler is efficient, safe and compliant with UK regulation. It's recommended that you have your boiler serviced on an annual basis; that's what we're here for. So, what's included in a boiler service?

-   Inspection for fuel wastage (ensuring that you're not wasting money on your energy bills)

-   Inspection of all major components underneath the boiler casing

-   Realign pressure level of the gas

-   Check for products of combustion in the boilers flue

-   Comprehensive clean of all major operating parts (as required)

Landlord gas safety checks

If you're a landlord, you are legally required to have all gas appliances and gas fittings checked on an annual basis. As well as a boiler service, which covers all of the aspects outlined above, we can also service gas fires and gas ovens/hobs.

Landlord certificates

Once we've completed our inspection, we'll hand you either a pass or fail certificate. Upon receipt of a pass certificate, you are legally required to make the certificate available to existing tenants within 28 days or to new tenants upon their arrival. You're also required to keep a record of the certificate for at least 2 years. We'll keep a copy too, so you can count on us if you need to demonstrate your compliance to regulators. 

Upon receipt of a fail certificate, we'll advise you on the next steps.
